Adriana Castro Small Maya Clutch
It's hard to believe that it has been two years, since I initially featured Adriana Castro as one of my favorite designers showcased in Sex and the City 2. Last week, I was pleased to receive a sneak peek of her Fall collection and I found myself swooning over the new iterations of her small Maya Clutch. Adriana Castro is a master of exotic skins, and this clutch is no exception. The combination of natural viper snakeskin and turquoise Caiman Fuscus crocodile skin is mesmerizing. Pair this clutch with a little white dress for effortless summer styling. For Fall, the crocodile flap will be available in a stunning deep blue hue as well as a rich purple tone. Purchase the small Maya Clutch directly from Adriana Castro for only $445.

Dolce & Gabbana Feather Clutch
It's a sad, sad day ladies and gentlemen. One of my favorite Sesame Street characters, Tiffy, has passed away, after losing a 20 year battle with cocaine addiction and alcoholism. Like so many other international stars, she fell victim to the pressures of Hollywood. In an effort to immortalize our beloved Tiffy, Dolce & Gabbana has crafted a new clutch utilizing ostrich plumes resembling her trademark afro. It's adorned with a multicolored crystal jewel clasp for added glamour. Purchase at Net-a-Porter for $2,345. Small price to pay for such a significant piece of history. By the way, this entire post is a joke. Unless you're Nicki Minaj's answer to Daisy Buchanan, you have no excuse wearing this bag.

Buying Louis Vuitton on eBay
That's right! I have entered the underground world of purchasing luxury handbags on eBay and I've uncovered some pretty interesting information. While I have sold a few items on the site, I've never taken the plunge and purchased anything. However, I've recently become intrigued by the idea, because I'm in the market for a new weekender and Louis Vuitton's price hikes have pissed me off for the last time. The same epi keepall that was around $1,800 when I was in college is now over $2,300. When you factor in the outrageous sales tax in Texas, that's simply too large of an investment for a travel bag that will only get worn a few times a year. Therefore, I turned to eBay to see what kinds of deals were available. However, I quickly realized that the age old rules for shopping on the site no longer apply. Unfortunately, positive feedback and authenticity cards mean nothing anymore. Why, you ask? Take a good look at this Louis Vuitton epi keepall.
The seller has sold 1,485 luxury goods with 100% positive feedback and assures potential buyers that this bag is 100% authentic. There's only one problem. Why would anyone in their right mind sell this bag for only $365? After an exhaustive amount of research, I have discovered the answer to that very question. Japanese counterfeiters have perfected Louis Vuitton products. The fakes are so good that Louis Vuitton retailers can't even tell the difference. These "super fakes" have completely ruined the secondhand market for Louis Vuitton. Buyers are left with either the risk of possibly purchasing a fake bag or the exorbitant cost of shopping at official retailers. To add insult to injury, if you're ever interested in reselling your bag, you have to compete with Japanese super fakes, ultimately lowering your return on investment.
My advice: If it looks too good to be true, it most certainly is. As for me, I will be splurging on a designer travel bag, but it definitely won't be Louis Vuitton. Stay tuned...

Fendi Mini Mia Bag
Is it too early to pick up a clutch for the holiday season? I'm all about metallic when it comes to Christmas office parties and New Year's celebrations, so it should come as no surprise that I was instantly drawn to the Fendi Mini Mia Bag. The pleated exterior is emblazoned with Fendi's classic monogram and decked out in a lovely dusty rose hue with flecks of gold and silver. This bag would be the perfect compliment to your favorite little black dress and the detachable shoulder strap will certainly come in handy when you've had one too many glasses of bubbly. Purchase the Fendi Mini Mia Bag at Barneys for $755.

Sarah Jessica Parker's Fendi 2jours Bag
It's official. I'm obsessed with the Fendi 2jours Bag. You may remember that I initially featured this design last month, when I spotted it on Kate Moss. Well, it finally made its way across the pond and landed on the arm of one of my favorite style icons, Sarah Jessica Parker. I love the simplicity of the black leather version paired with shimmering gold hardware. If you look closely, you can see that she took advantage of Fendi's monogramming services and branded the bag with her initials. Bag Brag had the pleasure of attending Fendi's Fall 2012 preview and managed to snap a few photos of this gorgeous bag, including the stunning alligator and lambskin variation pictured below. I can't wait for the Fendi 2jours Bag to hit stores this Fall. UPDATE: Purchase at Saks Fifth Avenue for $2,260.

Valentino Rockstud Clutch
We first introduced you to the Valentino Rockstud collection back in 2010, and everyone instantly swooned over the refreshingly youthful line of accessories. Now that studs are returning as a major trend for Fall, it's only fitting that we look to Valentino for style inspiration. I adore the simplicity of this clutch. Minimal studded detailing makes an impact without being garish. The sumptuous calfskin is out of this world, especially in this season's hottest hue - deep red. This sizeable clutch can easily transition from day to evening, and the wristlet will certainly come in handy, whether you're simply running errands or bringing in the New Year. Purchase at Net-a-Porter for $1,195.

Halle Berry's Jimmy Choo Biker Bag
Halle Berry was recently spotted in Los Angeles, taking a romantic stroll with her uber handsome fiance, Olivier Martinez. I could go on for hours about her interesting wig, but let's just focus on the gorgeous bag. It's a brand new design from Jimmy Choo, which will certainly appeal to women who can appreciate the rocker chic aesthetic. The sumptuous, slouchy design is ideal for casual weekend wear and this bag will add the perfect amount of edge to any Fall look. I, personally, can't get enough of the multi-chain detailing. The strap is adjustable, so one can wear it as a shoulder bag or style it across the body. Purchase the Jimmy Choo Biker Bag at Net-a-Porter for $1,795. Now, if I could just locate Halle's career...

Alexander McQueen Heroine Satchel
Happy Monday everyone. Let's start the week off right with the latest from Alexander McQueen. The Heroine satchel is brand new for Fall and it's not even available for purchase yet, but that won't stop us from obsessing. Over the years, McQueen has consistently delivered classics with a twist, and this handbag is no exception. The ladylike top handle design has been revamped with an innovative flap closure. Although, this bag is quite petite, the side zipper detailing allows for expandable interior space. Three pockets offer plenty of organizational possibilities, while the leather lining and golden hardware adds a touch of luxury. This aubergine color is quickly becoming a trend for Fall, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's a lovely warm hue that truly goes with everything, from rich blacks and browns to soft grays and blues. Preorder the suede version at Saks for $2,295. The calfskin variation features a suede lining and retails for an additional hundred bucks. Shop Alexander McQueen at Net-a-Porter.

Fendi Studded Daisy Bag
It's official! Studs are back and even though I love the rocker chic aesthetic, I think it's a bit too soon. We haven't had a chance to truly miss the trend. Why buy a new handbag? I'm sure you all have an Alexander Wang Rocco Bag somewhere in the depths of your closet. Maybe I'm rushing to judgement. I'm sure design houses have plenty of fresh ideas for studded detailing. Let's see what Fendi has to offer. Yikes! A matronly tartan fabric paired with multicolored studs, accented with snakeskin and mink trim. Seriously Fendi, What the Fug?! If you laugh in the face of public humiliation, purchase the Fendi Studded Daisy Bag at Barneys for $1,850. Shop Fendi at StyleBop.

Yves Saint Laurent Chyc Shoulder Bag
The Chyc Tote has been hugely successful for Yves Saint Laurent this season, and I'm pleased to announce that a new shoulder bag variation will be available this Fall. I adore the simplicity of this structured, ladylike design. The magnetic snap closure features an oversized golden "Y" detail. It makes a stylish statement without being ostentatious, like many printed logos. Note that the stitching mimics the letter "Y" as well. Two separate interior compartments and a zippered pocket make organization a breeze. This classic style can be worn as a shoulder bag or across the body. Purchase the Chyc Shoulder Bag at Yves Saint Laurent boutiques for $1,495. Currently, it's only available in this gorgeous grayish brown buttery leather. Are you still swooning for the tote version or is the shoulder bag calling your name? Shop YSL at Net-a-Porter.

Jada Pinkett-Smith's Valentino Rockstud Tote
To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of Jada Pinkett-Smith - the actress. However, she has been consistently giving me everything I need in the style department. Whether she's promoting Madagascar 3 or just hanging out with her beautiful family, she's always impeccably dressed in the latest designer duds. I love the way she paired this timeless casual look with a vibrant red tote from Valentino's rockstud collection. This bag is the perfect marriage of class and edge, just like Jada. Purchase at Valentino boutiques for $2,745. Shop Valentino at Net-a-Porter.
