Marchesa Lily Clutch

Marchesa Lily Clutch

Tonight's the night folks. The Met Ball is finally upon us and I, for one, can't wait to see who shows up with whom and what they'll be wearing. Reportedly, Lana Del Ray will be dressed by Joseph Altuzarra, Christina Ricci in Thakoon, Joan Smalls in Balmain and Azealia Banks will be performing in Alexander Wang. As per usual, I'll be paying more attention to what the attendees are carrying, rather than their designer gowns. I'm hoping to see a real glamour girl, like Naomi Campbell, rocking the Marchesa Lily clutch. Who could resist the gorgeous iridescent python skin and Marchesa's signature oversized crystal closure? Purchase at Stanley Korshak for $1,795. Complete the look with this stunning Donna Karan gown and these elegant Gucci sandals, both from NET-A-PORTER.

Hi Michael, I have missed you! What an amazing clutch--how great it would be to have someplace as glamorous to carry that--I'm in love with that little rock crystal snap at the top. The irridescent color is to die for!

I'm not sure what this says about me but my breath actually caught when I saw that clutch.

Actually...I think that means I have a problem

Hey MJ! I missed everyone too. I took last week off for my birthday. Now, I'm back... and old. Lol!

Marchesa instantly stole my heart with their signature crystal clasp and that iridescent python skin is TDF.

Unfortunately, no one took my advice. Instead, there was a whole lot of matronly boredom. I have a sneaking suspicion you'd be in love with Linda Fargo's cape though. Be sure to check it out.

No worries Georgina! We all have issues when it comes to bags. We don't judge around here. Lol!

the colour spectrum on the the leather looks like its somekind of python snakeskin combines the beauty of mother of the pearl, this is quite amazing

Hi BB! The python skin definitely has a mother of pearl quality. The way light bounces off it reminds me of the ocean at sunset. Truly breathtaking!

Absolutely! I much prefer Chanel when Karl sticks to Coco's timeless aesthetic.
