Emilio Pucci Marquise Bag

When Emilio Pucci steps away from their signature graphic prints, they can create some of the most beautiful, modern handbags and the Marquise is no exception. I love the fact that Pucci never follows trends. Nothing about blue crocodile-embossed suede is reflective of ladylike chic detailing or military influences, but it looks absolutely breathtaking, and therefore, it works. The abundance of gold hardware truly pops against the gorgeous petrol blue exterior of the bag. With Chanel's outrageous price hikes and long-standing granny appeal, I've been on the prowl for suitable alternatives and I think I may have found it. Purchase directly from Emilio Pucci for $1495.

I have to say, this bag works it. Quite a statement piece. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read the words "granny appeal". You are too funny... Although, I did purchase after one year of searching my first and probably only Chanel - a classic Maxi in the metallic grey lambskin. When I wear it with contemporary, edgy outfits, the "granny" effect is non-existent :)

dear rw,

The aforementioned bag is not a school bag. Indeed it will not carry a single book. Dear lord, get your head checked. School girls should carry knapsacks, not designer purses. Those are for us old dolls who have already graduated with multiple degrees and are working our asses off to pay your tuition, you little entitled troll.
