Even though Ports 1961 was recently launched in 2006, it is definitely a name to be reckoned with. The elegance and exquisite craftsmanship that is exhibited throughout the line is clearly exemplified in the El Clutch. The pleated detailing on the glazed stingray leather gives the bag a thin and structured look. There is something about the simplicity of this bag that just grabs me. Not to mention the fact that it's only $395.00 at shopbop.
The Envelope Clutch is made of genuine leather and looks thin enough to be confused for a real envelope. The geometric shape of the bag highlights the pleat and fold detail that Ports 1961 does so well. My favorite feature is the peek-a-boo raw lining on the sides of the clutch. If you want this bag, hurry to shopbop and purchase it for $495.00 because there are only 3 left!

Gorgeous clutches Nina, but I'm a bit concerned about the functionality.

These clutches are to die for!! I want them both.
Thanks for checking out my blog and for your kind words....I'm such a newbie and it's so fun when someone like you appears in the comments, I will be reading yours for sure!!!
I like the black clutch because it is classic and because stingray is so cool. I'm less excited about the envelope clutch.
In terms of style, both clutches are gorgeous. From a purely practical standpoint, not so much. At least they're not too expensive. I'd be willing to indulge for that price;-)
BTW, congrats on your wtite up.
oh the second one is my love!
