I just got to "work" and I'm finally getting around to flipping through April's Elle. It's jam packed full of gorgeous accessories for Spring, most notably this Dior python briefcase that shows up three times in the issue. With men's tailoring making a major comeback in the Fall collections, this is the perfect accessory to instantly update your wardrobe. The classic shape exemplifies my philosophy when it comes to exotic skinned bags. "Invest in pieces that will stand the test of time and never spend more than $1500 on a trendy bag!" Obviously this briefcase is geared towards executives, but the shoulder strap, hanging signature Dior charm, python skin, and understated scale achieves a feminine aesthetic, often lacking in corporate wear. I know it's a minute detail, but I love the logo plaque. It's sophisticated and not pretentious or ostentatious at all. Dolce & Gabbana should take note. Call 800-929-DIOR or stop by your nearest Dior boutique to pick up this luxurious briefcase for $7400. To get the look for less than half the price, check out the Proenza Schouler python PS1.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about the briefcase, but I love that shoe!!
I have been considering the PS1 although the Dior briefcase is pretty awesome as well as having an awe-inspiring price...hmm must think more about this!
It's definitely a feminine, ultra lux option for the corporate woman. Steep price, but I've grown accustomed to those on exotic bags.
Nina and Michael, thanks for your comments last week. You're among the sweetest bloggers around.
I agree! I am into that shoe:) Have a great evening!
I see that flesh tone bags are in now. I wonder what colors flesh tone bags pair with in terms of outfits to match.
Katy and Kristin - The sandals are available at Ralph Lauren for $595.
shellsea - I like to pair them with earth tones, denim, or white. There is nothing chicer than a white suit with a patent nude Loubou!
