Michael and I were obsessed with Devi Kroell's handbag collection last season, so we've been waiting to see what's new for Spring. Unfortunately, every piece is completely lackluster. The addition of a mediocre RTW collection has greatly affected the handbag design, which has increasingly become less inspired. We still love the brand and we've resorted to featuring our favorite design from their classic collection. It was love at first sight when I saw this Devi Kroell Envelope bag. I don't know if it was the teal color, the origami design, or the box chain that captured me, but I was drawn to every chic inch of it. The beautiful origami detailing is well executed. Designs that fully envelope handbags can be overwhelming, but Devi Kroell gets it right every time. My only complaint is the fact that it's impossible to detect the eel skin and therefore, the $1490 price tag isn't justified. Besides the gorgeous teal color, this bag is also available in black and bamboo, which is inexplicably marked up to $1790. Purchase directly from Devi Kroell.

ITA about Devi Kroell's lack of inspired bags as of late. I actually prefer her RTW more than the new batch of bags. This one is very nice, but the mark up on the black and beige versions is completely ridiculous.
The origami detailing is BEYOND Nina!
