I've been eyeing the Christian Louboutin Mariana Hobo for a while now and I finally got to see it in real life yesterday. It's absolutely breathtaking! The sumptuous Italian leather is accented with a gazillion light gold-tone studs and comfortable flat chain straps, that could have been slightly longer if you ask me. This is definitely a statement bag that will get you noticed everywhere you go. Thanks to the oversized pull, the zip-top is super functional and who can argue with so much interior space? Of course, it's lined in Loubou's signature red-canvas, which I love. There's only one problem and it's kind of major. All that leather and hardware makes for a HEAVY bag! If you've been strength training lately, purchase the Mariana Hobo HERE for $2848. There is a lighter option, however, that's significantly more affordable and understated; the clutch version. If you love this bag, Michael, then I'm sure you'll drool over the Hermés Studded Kelly from the fall 2010 collection.

Believe it or not, I'm not that in to the Kelly bag Dania. Come to think of it, the only Hermes bag that I'm drooling over is the Medor clutch. The studding is definitely a step in the right direction...or is it? I'm not exactly the Hermes target customer. For instance, I liked the Shadow Birkin that every Hermes fanatic hated.

I would've never thought I'd like the studded Kelly only because the Kelly is my Holy Grail bag, and I like a more refined finish on a classic style bag. With that being said, this new version has JPG's name written all over it. I loved his RTW collection and all the tiny pouchettes he featured, but that studded Kelly was something else. Not sure how hard-core Hermés lovers will feel about such a trendy version of this style, but I likey alot!
