Sang A F/W 2010 Presentation

Fashionistas, champagne, breathtaking handbags suspended from the ceiling, AND an auction raising money for a good cause? Sang A certainly knows how to have a presentation in style. Let's start with limited edition Flash clutches, the proceeds of which benefited Free Arts NYC

I live for this white patent leather version with buttons. Don't they resemble colored contact lenses?

The geometric design on this clutch is so fresh! Okay, enough with the chit chat. Let's get down to business.

The Flash clutch has been updated for Fall with an iridescent palette that practically screams Studio 54. I can't decide which color is my favorite.

If I had this grouping of bags, I could die happy! The Ritz finally comes in neutral colors and I for one am really excited. There's just something so glamorous about a black or gray fox fur clutch. The metallic gold python cross-body bag with linear detailing is fierce. And the pièce de résistance is the Pop bag. It's a soft tote in stunning blue python skin.

Editor's Note: Thank you Shannan J. and Jay H. for attending the show on behalf of Bagpoor.com!

I didn't want to mention this in the post, but there was one bag that didn't work for me AT ALL. It's called the Way tote. Check it out at Sang A's website and tell me what you think.

I'm so envious!!!!!!!!!!!

JK, guys. I love the Flash in teal 'cause I'm loving teal for fall. The tiny crossbody bag is fierce. Great club bag. The Pop Bag is beyond stunning. If I had the funds I'd buy it without a moment's hesitation.

As for the Way Tote, there are two things that kill the design (which isn't bad on its own). The different finishes aren't working for me. I'm not a fan of suede and exotics on the same bag. The striped bottom feels out of place. That one strip that breaks up the center panel is totally off IMO. With a bit of tweaking, this could be a great bag. She needs to go back to drawing board on that one.

So happy you were able to cover the presentation. Congrats!
