Grammy Gowns + Magenta Mayhem

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm already tired of the avant-garde movement. Let's get back to the elegance and glamour of old Hollywood. Taylor Swift, Mary J. Blige and Carrie Underwood best exemplified this sentiment on the red carpet at the Grammy's. In fact, the gorgeous magenta color of Mary J. Blige's Gucci gown inspired this post. Pinks and purples were all over the Spring runways, so why not combine the two and inject a vibrant splash of color into your summer wardrobe. Here's my list of the hottest magenta bags for the upcoming season.

This Zagliani bag speaks for itself. The ladylike frame style and shape is decked out in stunning magenta python skin. The appliqué detailing adds a slightly futuristic touch and it's lined in pink suede. Now that's HOT! Purchase from Browns Fashion for £2,090 ($3,319).

This is your basic "go-to" oversized daytime clutch. The magenta patent leather and understated enamel detailing are so Hampton's chic. Pair it with a white summer dress and you're out the door in effortless style. Preorder the Sigrid clutch at Gucci for only $595.

Let's face it. For some women, wearing a magenta bag is a huge risk. The easiest way to incorporate a new fun color into your wardrobe is with a timeless design. Take this woven Bottega Veneta East bag for instance. It will never go out of style, but it's still on trend. This bag is well worth the investment of £1,345 ($2,179) at Matches Fashion.

All three bags are gorgeous. I agree that investing in a color-rich bag is best done with a timeless design, particularly if funds are scarce.
