Lanvin Teacher Lizard Clutch

I'm not a huge fan of Lanvin bags, but this square clutch is gorgeous. I love the lizard skin! It's my favorite exotic because it's more understated than ostrich or crocodile skin and more durable than python. The oversized gold tone turn lock updates the classic shape. I don't know about you, but I usually want to remove the strap from pretty much every clutch I see. However, in this case, the chain shoulder strap is not only functional, but it actually adds to the appeal of the clutch. The Lanvin Teacher lizard clutch is silk lined and made in Italy. Purchase through Barneys for $2300.

Of all the exotics, lizard is my favorite. I particularly love it on clutches and structured bags like the Hermés Kelly. I think this design is gorgeous. A very elegant bag. Nice pick, Michael.
