Bedazzled Minaudieres

While flipping through the December issue of Vogue Magazine I spotted these ornate clutches designed by up and coming designer, Rafe. He launched his handbag collection in 1995 and is most well known for being chosen by Target, in 2005, as the first accessories designer to create a capsule collection. These minaudieres epitomize the designer's philosophy that a Rafe accessory is the exclamation point to any fashion statement. The tie-dyed fabric clutches have been completely enveloped in a gorgeous mosaic of stones and jewels. These bags are available at upscale department stores and specialty boutiques worldwide for $275. For additional information, check out Rafe's website.

How adorable is this Chloe clutch? The pale yellow waxed canvas has been embellished with an intricate design of beads, rhinestones and studs. The piece de resistance is the charming kiss lock clasp. It also comes with a dust bag, which is essential for storing such a lightly hued clutch. This bag is so Carrie Bradshaw...flirty, feminine, and FUN! Purchase at Portero for $1295 $459. That's 65% off!

I saw the Rafe clutches in person at a trade show - they are even more amazing in person!

I like those Rafe clutches and they sort of have little bit of an old shcool look to them, with all of the beading, which is why I really like them...nice find! 4 days until the VS Fashion show! Thought I already missed it for some reason!

I don't get it. I think they're horrible bags. They look like something done at a craftshow.
