Balenciaga has created yet another boring bag that will undoubtedly come in a thousand different colors. I know the "clackers" can't get enough of their City and Work totes, but I quite frankly have lost interest. Don't get me wrong, the Italian wrinkled lambskin is luscious and these bags are beautiful, but don't you find them a bit mundane? Anyhoo the Arena Saddle Classic messenger bag has finally arrived at www.barneys.com. It comes in three colors that we rarely see in handbag design. My favorite is mandarin (it's sort of a burnt orange or rust color). Praline is the most neutral and will transition seamlessly into fall, while the bleu layette is a little too "it's a boy" blue for my personal taste.
